Reason unknown police is further investigating in the case

A national level hockey player from Vadodara committed suicide in the city after inflicted injuries on his wrists. He was the only son in the family and as per his father was suffering from back pain and might be the reason for the extreme step.

As per details 22 year old Vivek Suhasbhai Pandey presently lives in room 22 of Manjalpur sports complex was found dead from inside his friend house in Pandit Deendayal Awas near Jupiter crossing.

Police broke the door in order to enter the room and found the body. They found the blood traces inside the room and assume that he might cut his wrist and hanged himself.

His father Suhasbhai Pandey works in ABB, reached the hospital after the information and shocked after seeing the body of his only son. He said his son plays with the SAG and played hockey for the last 10 years. He loved the game as equal to his life and might be taking the extreme step due to back pain. He talked to him last Saturday and and at that time he complained about the back pain to his mother.

His father further said that Vivek was studying in SYBA in MSU and played for the university team. He was a good hockey player and recently played at Gwalior. Vivek lives inside the sports complex and practiced the game with other players.

Makarpura police is further investigating in the matter about Vivek visiting which friend house and the reason behind the suicide. Police registered the case of suicide and send the body for postmortem.
