Students of Mook Dhwani school in Vadodara celebrated 69th Republic Day in a unique way by singing the National Anthem in sign language. Like others they celebrated the Republic Day with great enthusiasm and spread the message of patriotism.

Like every year the school celebrated Republic Day singing the National Anthem in sign language. Its a beautiful sight when the students sing the National Anthem in such a unique way. Around 200 students from Nursery till 12th Standard sing the National Anthem along with the teachers and trustees of the school.

In addition a laboratory, sports and craft room is also inaugurated as part of the Republic Day celebrations. The students of the school performed extraordinary at state, district and National level are also felicitated by the school.

"Every year we celebrate Republic Day with students sing the National Anthem in sign language. In every programme of our school we sing the National Anthem in the same way which is something unique as this is the language of our students. Two of our students Devendra Kushwaha and Vicky Chauhan bring honours to the school as both shine at national level. Kushwaha took part in National Chess Championship and Vicky Chauhan played Volleyball from Gujarat and now available of selection in National team to play in International level," said Rashmi Mehta principal of the school.

City also celebrate the 69th Republic Day with great fervor. BJP, Congress, VMSS, Fire Brigade, schools and various organisations celebrate the day. Police department also celebrate the Republic Day with parade and various other programmes at the police parade ground.

District level 69th Republic Day celebration was held at Waghodia where district collector remain present there. Various cultural programmes were organised after the flag hoisting.
