Bootlegger fled police launched search to nab the accused

Nandesari police on a tip-off caught a car laden with foreign liquor from Sakarda, Bhadarwa Road near Vadodara city. However, the bootlegger managed to escape as police seized the liquor and began search to caught the accused.

As per available details, Shailesh , a police constable on duty at Nandesari police station, recieved information about a car carrying foreign liquor was about to pass from Sakarda and Bhadarwa road. Based on the that they set up a watch at the spot the team got alert after saw the mentioned car.

However, before police could approach the car, the bootlegger, who was carrying the foreign liquor, left the car at the spot and fled. Police reached the car and found foreign liquor worth Rs 1,91,500 in the car. Police seized 57 boxes of liquor and the car from the spot.

On the other hand police have launched an investigation about the owner of the car based on its number plate.

It is to be mentioned that bootleggers ferry foreign liquor by taking advantage of the night curfew. However, the police department is also on alert and foiled it. On Wednesday evening, Nandesari police seized a large quantity of foreign liquor and registered a case against an unidentified bootlegger.
