Muslim ladies from Vadodara signed a letter to President of India, regarding triple Talaq

Requesting the President of India not to allow the triple Talaq rule to be changed the Muslim ladies from Vadodara signed a letter to him. They requested him to not change the law.

Government is planning to change the triple talaq law for muslims after a lady filed a matter before the court. The government proposed to change the triple talaq law and instead make a universal one. However the muslim people are against it and raised their protest.

Sanjari Young Circle and Minority department of Vadodara Sheher Congress Committee launched a signature campaign on Wednesday and took signatures of ladies opposing the decision of the government. The group is targeting to take 30,000 signatures and send it to the President and requesting him for staying the decision.

"We are in support of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board and here we are taking the signatures of the ladies of our Gorwa area to oppose the decision of making changes in the triple talaq law. We don't want a single change in the law and requesting the President of India to intervene," said Mohammad Jameel Maulana.

The group is targeting to collect 30,000 signatures and Haji Mohammad Junaid Shaikh Chairman of Minority department Congress Committee will take it and handover personally to the President on 30th October.
