Police launched a manhunt to caught the accused
A murder accused lodged in Godhra sub-jail and kept for treatment at the Vadodara city mental hospital fled from the premises. Police launched a manhunt to caught the accused. On Monday a notorious bootlegger escaped from the Padra primary health center in Vadodara district.
As per available details, Jayanti Pratap Nayak, accused of murder, was shifted from Godhra Sub Jail to Vadodara Mental Hospital on May 22nd for treatment. The accused was in under the strict security of jawand from Godhra Police Headquarters. Meanwhile on 24th May accused Jayanti Nayak undergoing treatment at the mental hospital escaped from there around noon.
An per offence registered in Karelibaug police station, Jayanti Nayak was admitted in the mental hospital for treatment and on 24th May noon, he fled on the pretext of urinating. Police launched a manhunt to nab the accused.
