MSU warden and senate member arrested under prohibition
Warden and Senate member of MSU Baroda Ajay Dogra was arrested by the police on Thursday night in an inebriated state shocked the university which is yet to recover from the poor rating given to them recently.
The drunk senate member threatened the students be ready to face the consequences and the students informed the Fatehgunj police and they arrested the senate member. On Friday after the shameful incident the university removed Ajay Dogra from the warden post of RT hall and also from the senate member (Vice Chancellor Nominee) with immediate effect.
As per the details residing in 139 Madhavnagar society Gorwa Ajay Dogra is working as the curator of Polytechnic college with the influence of some syndicate members he was given the charge of warden of RT Hall in the college. He is also the senate member in the MSU and strengthening his position. However as per the sources he was running the hostel as per his rules and the students are living in fear.
On Thursday heavily drunk Ajay Dogra was threatening the students and also beat two of them. This leads to a heated altercation and one of the students informed the Fatehgunj police station about the incident. Meanwhile friends of Ajay Dogra informed Vadodara NSUI President Zuber Pathan and he reached the campus and trying to calm down the situation. However the students refused and that irked Ajay Dogra. The university vigilance team also tried to control the situation but the students refused and that further angered Dogra and he threatened the students to be ready to face the consequences and Bapu will save him from this.
The students without fear told him that now be inside for 10 years and took out his procession before handover him to the police. The late night incident shocked the officials as the accused was among one of the officials. However according to the sources many members of the syndicate tried to release Ajay Dogra but failed. One of the things also arises from the incident as the police don’t take him to the SSG hospital for alcohol test till morning on Friday which raised many eyebrows.
Fatehgunj police jawan Ajit Lalsingh registered the case of prohibition against Ajay Dogra and further investigating. Taking the serious note of the incident the MSU removed Ajay Dogra from Warden as well as from the Senate post.
