On Thursday MSU Baroda Vice Chancellor, Prof. Parimal Vyas released a Research Report conducted by Team UBA. The research was done in view of Covid 19 covered five villages and 300 houses.
In the month of July and August, 2020, a research study on COVID-19 AND ITS IMPACT IN RURAL AREAS is conducted by the team Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
The main objectives of the Research study were to know the effects of Covid-19 in rural areas, level of awareness among the villagers, copying mechanism/strategies adopted by the villagers to combat with Covid- 19 along with to know special facilities provided by the Government/ appropriate agencies in rural areas.
Total 300 households from 05 villages namely Fajalpur, Kotna, Sakariyapura, Radhiyapura and Rajgadh were covered under the study.
Another appreciation Certificate is given to MSU under UBA by Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education, Dept of Higher Education Ministry of Education Government Of India.
