Taking the Uttarayan festival to a new level the students of MSU spread the message of Save the Girl Child in a unique way on Saturday. They stand with kites displaying the message related to girls and and request the others to fly kites with the same message.
Students of Human Development and Family Sciences of Faculty of Community Science celebrate Uttarayan in a unique way. Dressed up in black the girls holding white kites with messages of Save the Girl Child and educate them written on it. They shouted slogans and sing songs related to the concept and request others to follow.
"The students start the campaign I Promise where they want to spread the message and promise to save the girl. We also request others to write similar slogans on the kites and fly far in the sky," said Dr. Namita Bhatt.
