    Burn effigy of MSU authorities

    For the second straight day MSU students and vigilance team clashed after they reached the head office with their demand to declare the results. The students shouted slogans against the vigilance officer and even burned the effigy of MSU authorities in view of the their demands.

    Students leaders of the university demand to declare the results of many faculties pending for quite some time and give representations in different occasions. However with no resolution to their demands on Thursday they reached the head office on Thursday to gives a memorandum in this regard to the vice chancellor. However they had heated arguments with the on duty vigilance team and later protest against them after UGS Rakesh Punjabi was taken to hospital in unconscious condition.

    On second straight day the students reached the university head office with their demands of declaring the results and clashed with the vigilance team after their tried to enter inside the building. As the matter seems to out of control Registrar and Senate members rushed to the spot to intervene. The students later burn effigy of university authorities to show their protest against them.

    Later a meeting was held between VC, registrar and student leaders in view of the situation and promised to declare the results in one week time.
