Authorities came to help closely monitoring the situation
The hostel area of the MSU is waterlogged due to heavy rains on Wednesday and that makes it’s difficult for the students for food and other things. Science FGS Nitinsinh Barad request the authorities to open the canteen and help the students in need. The reply was positive and university registrar and syndicate members reached the place and met the hostel students.
With heavy downpour whole city is waterlogged as the rain water entered inside societies. The hostel area of MSU also reeling under knee deep water and the students find it difficult to go outside. They request the authorities to keep running the canteen and the reply was positive. University registrar N.K. Ojha, Senate and Syndicate member Jigar Inamdar reached the place, met the students and extend help to the students.
“We have rescued around 350 non teaching staff members residing behind the hostel area and accommodate them at MM Hall and JM Hall. We provide all the facilities to them and the students residing inside the hostel. Registrar, Senate and Syndicate members all are closely monitoring the situation and everything is under control. Food, water everything is available at the place,” said Jigar Inamdar.
