VC said dont want to disrupt the peaceful enviornment
Citing security reasons the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda cancels the show of comedian Kunal Kamra. The event is to be held at CC Mehta auditorium on 11th August.
As per the details stand up comedian was supposed to visit the university for a show.
Sagar Thakkar from the city organise the stand up comedy show of Kunal Kamra and booked the CC Mehta Auditorium for the same. However former student of MSU Dr. Hemang Joshi sent a mail to the VC request him to cancel the show and give reason about his tweet, disrespect the Tricolor and supporting Tukde Tukde gang. After that the show was cancelled in view of security reasons.
“We are not against the show or the artist but out prime focus is the security of the students and the university. We are pulled into this unnecessarily and don’t want the university to be a battle ground and disrupt the peaceful environment,” said Parimal Vyas Vice Chancellor MSU Baroda.
