Wish to start her own company and provide employment to women

Using social media to best of her use, Vadodara girl Prachi Mehta is selling homemade ketchup, pickles, squash, syrup and Jam as a business start up. She wants to start her own company in future and provide employment to the needy women.

An M.Sc in Environmental Science, Prachi preferred to pursue her career to become a successful business woman and took training in Community Caning Centre of Garden department. After that she prepared ketchup, squash, syrup, jam and pickles from fruits and vegetables and selling it under her startup business.

Prachi said she wish to do business rather than regular job, which she done for almost three years after her studies. She took 15 days training from the Community Caning centre and later started her own business operating from home. She sell the items as per orders and also use social media to its full use to reach the customers. Although she earn less than job but the satisfaction is there which keeps her going in life.

Prachi said after the training in 2017, she started the business with her own savings and help from the family. Under the name ShriGokulesh Gruh Udyog, Prachi starts preparing ketchup, squash, syrup, jam and pickles as per season and earning 25,000 a month and help her family. She wish to open a company in future and provide employment to women. She also open to take the benefit of government subsidy loan scheme if needed for her start up business. Presently her mother helps her in preparing the items at home.

Prachi is confident enough to tap a good market share in coming days as her products are gaining popularity among people. Her father is a teacher and mother a housewife, but she dream to be a successful business woman in future. She also thanked Kamlesh Parmar from Community Caning Centre for his continuos guidance in her business.
