Went into record books for maximum people taking pledge to vote

More than 50,000 people took pledge to vote in fun street event organised in Vadodara on Sunday the last day for campaigning before the all important voting day on Tuesday 23 April 2019. The feat went into record books for maximum people taking pledge to vote at one place. The record certificate was later handover to Municipal Commissioner and the organisers by the records committee present there to witness the feat.

Vadodara witness lots of voting awareness programmes since the declaration of elections by the election commission. Every Sunday a fun street on the same concept was organised at the popular Akota Dandia Bazaar bridge spreading the awareness in people to vote without fail.

On 21st April the last day of election campaigning the fun street achieved a rare feat and went into record books for maximum people taking pledge to vote at one place. The World Book of Records officially announced and certified Vadodara as Longest Human Chain to create voter awareness among people.
