More than 2.08 lakh people were registered in rural areas of Vadodara district under Covid vaccination survey in the first 3 days on the basis of age criteria and co-morbidity.

The survey is being conducted under the guidance of District Collector Shalini Agarwal and with coordination of Chief District Health Officer Dr. Uday Tilawat as well as Province Officers and Mamlatdars. It is the part of pre-preparation for covid vaccination as per age and co-morbidity criteria.

The registration of eligible people for vaccination is being carried out by 1310 teams comprising of Health, Education, Revenue and other allied departments covering the area of ​​polling stations with details like name, address, mobile number, proof of identity.

Dr. Uday said, this survey has been started from 10th and 12th of Devember, a total of 205619 people over the age of 50 have been registered by the survey teams, including 98959 men and 106660 women.

Similarly, a total of 2829 people which includes 1558 men and 1271 women under the age of 50 but suffering from comorbidities like BP, diabetes, heart disease have been registered. Thus, a total of 208448 people have been registered for vaccination under both the criteria in the present survey. Sunday is the last day of the survey.
