Minister of State for Narmada Development Yogesh Patel launches 11 Quick Diagnostic Centers for Covid testing in Vadodara. The facility is available for free of cost. He said that since the third week of March, corona outbreak has been on the rise in Vadodara city, extensive steps have been taken by the corporation health department to prevent the transmission. In addition state government has given adequate support for corona patients to get the treatment in private and government hospitals.

He added that all the MLAs of the city had a meeting with the Chief Minister and discussed in detail about the situation of Corona in the city. Not only that, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel also visited Vadodara and discussed in detail about the situation and also gave necessary instructions to prevent corona infection in the city. This is being implemented in phases in the city.

He said that Rapid Antigen Test Centers have been started at 11 different places in Vadodara city from Tuesday. Citizens will be able to get free Corona test at these centers. The Covid Care Center has been started at Lalbagh Guest House in the city and three more covid care centers will be launched in the city in phases.

He added that the covid bed facility is also being extended in the city as per the instructions of the state government. Adequate quantities of remedisvir injections are also being made available in the city.

Along with that effective health services are being provided to the people at home through Dhanvantari Rath along with care of the patients receiving home treatment under Sanjeevani Abhiyan. For this about 200 Sanjeevani teams have been deployed in the city.

The government and local bodies are committed to providing effective health services to the citizens of Vadodara city in this difficult time. He request all to wear mandatory masks, maintain social distance and adhere to Corona guidelines. He added that if we work together without fear, we will be able to come out of this epidemic quickly.

Yogesh Patel visited the Emergency Diagnosis Centers started by the Corporation in the city and provided necessary guidance. Deputy Mayor Nanda Ben Joshi, Chairman of the Standing Committee Dr. Hitendrabhai Patel, party leader Dr. Vijaybhai Shah, MLAs, corporators, Municipal Commissioner P. Swaroop were present during the visit.
