Vadodara police busted a mini factory of duplicate liquor operated from Inside a house in Manjalpur area of the city. Police raid and seized duplicate liquor, empty bottles, spirit, local made liquor and the car using for delivery. They also arrested one accused from the spot and another was managed to escape and was declared wanted by the police.
Police get the tip about one Rahul Patel living in A-8, Kalyanbaug society in Manjalpur area and running a mini factory from his house. The surveillance squad with the help of Manjalpur police raid the house late night on Monday.
Rahul and his associate Shukabhai both make duplicate liquor inside the mini factory. Both brought Royal Stag and King Whiskey from the city bottlegers and purchased the empty bottles from the scrap and filled it with duplicate liquor.
Both of them after bring the original bottles of Foreign liquor opened them and then mix water, local made liquor, spirit, flavour and stored in a big steel vessel. Then they fill the empty bottles of Royal Stag and King Whiskey with the duplicate liquor and with the help of feviquik sealed the cap and sold them. Rahul himself kept a car for the delivery of the liquor.
Police arrested Rahul Patel and recovered 456 quarter bottles of King Whiskey, 750ml 24 glass bottles of Royal Stag Whiskey, 180ml 70 quarters of Royal Stag Classic, steel taps, storage vessels, local made liquor, spirit, flavour, cap, mobile phone and car from the spot.
Manjalpur police booked Rahul Patel and his associate under the new prohibition law and arrested Rahul Patel, However his associate managed to flee from there and police declared him wanted and further investigating the case.
