Methyl filled truck caught fire on Borsad highway

A chemical tanker filled with Methyl chemical turned turtle and caught fire on Borsad highway near Mujpur village in Padra Taluka. The fire brigade has to pressed eight fire tenders to control the fire.

As per the details the truck carrying highly inflammable Methyl chemical turned turtle and caught fire on Saturday morning at Borsad highway. As soon as the tanker turned turtle the chemical spread nearby and that also caught fire.

After the accident the traffic was stopped as per precautionary measure and informed the fire brigade. The fire tenders from Padra Industries, Padra Taluka and Baroda Fire brigade reached the spot to douse the fire. After continuous spraying of water they control the fire.
