Members demand Manjalpur Sports Complex in Vadodara to open from tomorrow

Most of the businesses, malls and multiplexes across the country have been started under Unlock 5 as government allowed them to operate following the strict guidelines. However many of them are still waiting to open and that irked people who are under lockdown for months.

In Vadodara the sports complex are yet to open fully which forced the members to protest. On Thursday the members of Manajalpur sports complex staged protest with play cards at the complex and demand to open it.

With Unlock 5, most of the businesses in the country are started and multiplexes are also starting from today. However the Corona scare eclipsed all the sports activities in the country along with Gujarat. The players as well as members are eagerly waiting for them to open.

Manjalpur Sport Complex is managed by Vadodara Municipal Corporation and before Corona it was buzzing with sorts activities. However amidst lockdown it was closed and yet to open even after Unlock 5.

Members of the sports complex were outraged today as it has not been opened yet and staged demonstrations with placards outside the Manjalpur Sport Complex early in the morning and organized a rally till Durbar Chowkdi demanding reopening of the Sport Complex.

Members said election meetings, rallies, multiplexes are being held from today. If most of the sports complexes in Vadodara have been opened then why Manjalpur Sport Complex is not opened. No elected political leaders are coming to cooperate with us. No one is interested. When it comes to increase immunity then how can you grow at home?

If they does not do sanitisation then all the members can sanitise ourselves. They demand that this Manjalpur Sport Complex be opened from tomorrow.
