Meeting of Aerodrome Committee held under Chairmanship of District Collector

Functioning under the chairmanship of District Collector and District Magistrate Shalini Agarwal

A meeting of Vadodara Aerodrome committee was held at the Collectorate on Wednesday under the chairmanship of District Collector Shalini Agarwal. Local authorities of the Airport Authority outlined the services available at Vadodara Airport and future plans for service improvement.

The meeting also discussed the possibility of conducting an anti-hijacking exercise in the near future in coordination with all concerned at the airport to make air travel safer and airport security more efficient.

The Chairman of the Committee and Collector gave directions to take all care of the safety and security of the tourists as per the rules laid down in view of the prevailing Corona situation and to make proper improvements to the services where necessary.

The meeting was attended by the Airport Director, Vadodara, City Police, CISF, Indian Air Force, Intelligence Branch and Airport Managers of various airlines.
