Meeting held with representatives of Group C hospitals in presence of Minister and public representatives

Implementation of April 25 declaration postponed

Dr. Vinod Rao, Officer on Special Duty and Education Secretary, said a discussion was held with representatives of Group C hospitals in the Legislative Assembly Room of the Collectorate on Monday. The meeting was attended by Minister of State for Narmada Development Yogesh Patel, Mayor, MP and MLAs of city and district.

The meeting acknowledged with a presentation by Group C hospitals to take care of the optimal use of oxygen in the treatment of covid patients and also responsibility for a guaranteed supply distribution system from their existing oxygen refillers.

The elected representatives present at the meeting said that all possible efforts were being made to get the required oxygen supply from the state government for all the hospitals in Vadodara and a proper decision would be taken in this regard in the near future.

Accordingly, the implementation of the April 25 notification of the grouping of hospitals for uninterrupted oxygen supply has been temporarily suspended, the official on special duty said. He urged all hospitals to make maximum efforts to reduce oxygen leakage and waste.
