Navratri is hours away and Vadodara is already grooving to the tunes of garba. Various garba venues and party plots organised Ratri before Navratri to set the tune of upcoming nine nights festival. However the city witness massive traffic jam near one of the popular garba venue which make people worried and patients searching for some way to reach the hospital nearby.
The popular United Way Garba is all set to welcome the revellers and on Wednesday a Ratri before Navratri was organised for the Alembic employees and their families. However the people moving towards their destinations stuck up in the massive traffic jam due to the garba event. The traffic became one way from both sides as vehicles are coming towards the venue on wrong side and slowly the area turned into a massive traffic jam.
Be it two wheeler of four wheeler every thing stopped at the spot where it stands and be there for hours. The photos and video clips of the massive traffic jam went viral and warn people to avoid the road.
Its just the situation of traffic even before the start of the festival and people stuck up in the traffic fear for more chaotic situation on Thursday when thousands of revellers rushed to the venue to play garba. Starting from 7 in the evening the traffic woes continues till late night. The vehicles are not moving a inch and the most suffering are the patients stuck up in the traffic and failed to reach the hospital nearby to the garba venue.
This massive traffic jam just proved to be the curtain raser for the next nine nights.
