Markets Open Higher: Sensex Up 0.30% to 37,181, Nifty Below 11,000

Indian justice list poked higher in opening trade, with the S&P BSE Sensex rising 0.30% to 37,181.42 and the NSE Nifty 50 rising 0.23 % to 10,971.40 as of this morning.

The broader markets represented by the NSE Nifty 500 Index rose 0.15%.Meanwhile, the Indian rupee opened higher against the US dollar, with the home currency appreciating as much as 0.03% to Rs 71.77 against the greenback.
