Malls and big shops remain sealed till the 3 days period ends

After sealed the markets in Vadodara for not following Covid 19 guidelines, administration gives a conditional approval to open them from Monday. However in case of violations the Joint Enforcement Teams will seal them again for three days.

The JETs swung into action from Saturday to check the Covid 19 guidelines being followed by the shopkeepers and others in various parts of the city. The team sealed shops which are not following the guidelines and send a strict message to everyone.

After the action the teams managed to minimise the crowding at places. OSD Dr. Vinod Rao informed that all JETs are doing excellent work since last two days and they have succeeded in minimizing crowding in Hot Spots this Saturday and Sunday.

However the administration have given conditional approval to reopen Bazaars and Markets from Monday upon their written undertaking to follow all guidelines. If they violate the guidelines we will again seal them for 3 days, said Dr. Rao.

The Malls and bigger shops sealed will continue to remain sealed till the 3 days period from the date of sealing is over. Dr. Rao added that all JETs will continue to do good work and will break this cycle of doubling in the next 10-14 days and keep the City safe.
