Manufacturing plant for track machines at Karjan connected with rail network at Lakodara station

In a major push to Make In India, manufacturing plant for Track Machines by Plasser(I) at Karjan near Vadodara has been connected with rail network at Lakodara station.

It will facilitate speedy, hasslefree and seamless transportation of Track Machines to various zonal railways.

Plasser India manufacture the most upto date high performance machine for Track maintenance. Earlier Plasser India had a factory at Faridabad (Haryana) and now Plasser India had set up new factory for manufacture of machine near Lakodara station of Vadodara division.

The siding is taking off from Lakodara station and it is around 2.5 Km from station. The Cost of project is 8.91 Cr (as per DPR) mentioned in the release.
