Fled with gold jewellery police began investigation

In a day light robbery in Vadodara a robber with knife attacked the owner of jewellery showroom and fled with gold ornaments. The incident creates panic in the Tandalja road area as police began investigation on base of the cctv footage.

As per available details Rajesh Soni owns a jewellery showroom on the first floor of Rajvi Tower located on Tandalja Road under the jurisdiction of J. P. Police station. Rajesh 55 a native of Padra and now living with his family on Old Padra Road, was in his showroom from 12-30 pm to 1 pm. At that moment, a man rushed inside and before he could think of anything, the man attacked him with a knife. He robbed the jewellery kept on display the as well as placed in the two drawers and fled in a matter of minutes.

On the other hand, other owners and people rushed to the spot after heard screams. The incident was reported to J.P. police and the team along with top police officials rushed to the spot. They shifted injured Rajesh Soni, stabbed in the neck, in 108 ambulances for treatment at Sayaji Hospital. Crowds of people had gathered near the showroom following the incident.

Police officials who reached the spot on learning of the incident, which caused an uproar in the entire Tandalja Road area, obtained preliminary details from locals. All will be clear after the investigation by the police as they access the cctv footage to identify the accused.
