Major General Ajeet Singh Gahlot, Sena Medal took over as General Officer Commanding, Battle Axe Division

Major General Ajeet Singh Gahlot, Sena Medal took over as General Officer Commanding, Battle Axe Division on 30 Dec 2020. The General Officer is an alumnus of National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, Pune.

He was commissioned into the 6/11 Gorkha Rifles in Jun 1989 and has commanded his parent unit. The General Officer has attended and excelled in all mandatory and competitive Army courses. He has vast experience of serving in various prestigious command and staff appointments in varied terrain.

He was Deputy Military Secretary at Headquarters Eastern Command prior to taking over the Battle Axe Division.
