MAJ GEN DINESH SHRIVASTAVA ASSUMES THE COMMAND OF GOLDEN KATAR DIVISION

Major General Dinesh Shrivastava has assumed the Command of Golden Katar Division on 15 Aug 2019. The Golden Katar Division is responsible for safeguarding the borders with Pakistan along Southern Rajasthan and Gujarat. The Division has been contributing to internal security and aid to civil authorities during disaster and natural calamities.

Maj Gen Dinesh Shrivastava has served in varied terrains and has vast experience. He has tenanted important assignments in counter insurgency area of J&K / NE, commanded a unit in Strike Corps and Siachen Glacier (OP MEGHDOOT). The General Officer commanded a Brigade at Port Blair in strategically important Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Meenu Shrivastava wife of the General Officer has assumed the charge of Chairperson Family Welfare Organisation of the Golden Katar Division.
