Mahi Water Resort is located near Mujpur Bridge in Padra taluka of Vadodara district.  Padra police rushed to the spot after receiving information that a large number of people had been allowed inside the resort. Large number of vehicles were seen in the parking lot at this time at the time police arrived at the spot. People as well as owners were shocked to see the police inside the resort. 

Padra police detained 3 people from the resort and have taken further action in the matter. Police will prosecute for breaches of notices and social distancing guidelines.

The Mahi Water Resort was in controversy after the death of an Ahmedabad student in a ride one and a half years ago. He was killed when his head hit the pole during the ride. Students of Diwan Ballubhai School in Kankaria area of ​​Ahmedabad came for a picnic. Jimil Gopalbhai Kavaiya, who was studying in Std-8, was having fun in a bus like ride at the resort when he died.
