Madhyan Bhojan Ladies protest against delay in salaries

Ladies working under Madhyan Bhojan scheme in primary schools raised their protest about not getting regular salaries. In view of that they gathered at Madhyavarti school in Vadodara and raised slogans against the government.

Akshay Patra in Vadodara provides healthy and nutritious food to the students of primary schools and Anganwadis. To provide the food with cleanliness is the responsibility of ladies working inside the schools. However they raised their queries about not getting the salaries in time and the amount is mere 1400 rupees.

On Friday the ladies went to the Gotri office of the Akshay Patra with their queries but their query was not addressed properly. They then reached the Madhyavarti school in Dandiya Bazaar and shouted slogans against the government.

The ladies demand to address their queries as soon as possible or else they will stop working.
