Local NGOs manage food for the staff of two trains passed from Vadodara

Trains are
running towards their origin station, Railway administration thanked and
appreciated their efforts

Many
organisations and persons extend their help in providing food and other
essential items during the lockdown in Vadodara. In one such gesture they
manage food for the staff of two trains running towards their origin station.
The railway administration thanked and appreciated their efforts.

Due to
lockdown in the country all passenger trains are stopped from 22nd March, but
the long trains are reaching towards their originating station with empty rakes
after reaching their destinations.

On 25th
March two trains Kochuveli Dehradun express and Shree Ganganagar Kochuveli
express passes from Vadodara with empty rakes and staff inside both the trains.
The two trains had five AC and 13 OBHC staff and they have given the message of
getting no food.

Acting on
the same, Jigar Inamdar from MSU team, Munaf Patel Samaj Seva team and James
from Baroda Kerala Samajam managed food for them. Divisional Commercial Manager
S.K. Nair coordinate with them and provide food to the staff in such difficult
situation. They appreciated the efforts of the NGOs to provide food for the
railway staff.
