Loan debtor with accomplices attacked two collection agents of IDFC bank in Vadodara

Loan debtor and his accomplices attacked two collection agents of IDFC bank in Vadodara. The youths went to collect the car loan EMI when they were attacked by the debtor. The two youths, who were critically injured in the incident at Memon Colony, are being treated at Sayaji Hospital.

According to information received from Sayaji Hospital, Sirajbhai Majidbhai Dabgar, a resident of Fategunj Kamatipura in the city, and his friend Abbasbhai are working as loan collection executive in the bank for the last 4 years. At around 11 a.m. on Saturday, they were called by a borrower named Sunny Memon called to collect the EMI of a car loan in Memon Colony. As they reached there the duo was attacked by the borrower and his associates.

Akash, friend of the injured Sirajbhai Dabgar said, Sunny Memon had an EMI of Rs 10,000 in arrears of a car loan. Siraj used to call from time to time and even today he talked on the phone. As a result Sunny Memon had called him to Memon Colony to collect the outstanding loan installment. Siraj along with his other colleague Abbasbhai went to take the loan installment at Memon Colony, where Sunny Memon and his accomplices fatally attacked with a Gupti like a weapon and fled.

Both the collection executives, who were injured in the fatal attack, were brought to Sayaji Hospital by ambulance, where Sajidbhai's condition is found to be serious. Panigate police on the other hand started an investigation as soon as the incident was reported and arrested the mastermind of the attack.
