LiFi technology for real time montiring of ventilators starts at Gotri hospital Vadodara
In fight against Covid 19 the Vadodara district administration is taking innovative steps to contain and take preventive steps against the virus.
On Saturday in Gotri Hospital they started using LiFi (Light Fidelity) technology for real-time monitoring of Ventilators in Isolation Ward. It was a CSR gesture from a subsidiary of RR Kabel. OSD Dr. Vinod Rao informed that after experiencing how it works they will do it in other hospitals also.
Dr. Rao also visited newly developed ICU on ground floor of Main Building in Gotri Hospital. He then visit the upcoming 130 bed Isolation Ward on 5th Floor which will be put to use shortly.
The health teams are doing door to door surveillance in the city and Dr. Rao visited Diwalipura Urban Primary Health Center and reviewed the Door to Door Surveillance work and Dhanwantari Raths of West Zone. He interracted with ANMs, USHAs and PHC staff. He also visited Shiyabagh PHC and reviewed work of Heath Team of North Zone.
Dr Rao informed and salute the Corona Warriors who visit even houses of COVID POSITIVE PATIENTS under Home Isolation. He said, today 43% of COVID Positive Patients are in Home Based COVID Care and the UPHC teams do daily follow up with them.
