New Update
A fight broke out between loco pilots over who would operate the newly inaugurated semi-high-speed Vande Bharat train connecting Agra and Udaipur, with a video of the incident now going viral on social media.
Reportedly, the West-Central Railways and Northwest Railways had ordered their respective staff to run the Vande Bharat train.
In the viral video, a group of men can be seen helping three men sneak inside the train’s cabin through a small window.
The men manage to climb in and unlock the door from inside, forcing the loco pilot and his assistant, who were inside, out of the cabin.
The individual thrown out was then physically assaulted. The footage also shows police officers trying to defuse the situation.
The Agra loco pilot and his assistant were asked to leave the train by the Gangapur staff, who wanted to take control of it. When the two refused, they were beaten by the Gangapur staff.
The video was shared on September 7 and has since garnered over 802,000 views. Many social media users criticised the Ministry of Railways.
