Uttarakhand govt to terminate 118 doctors absent from duty

Uttarakhand government will soon terminate the services of 118 doctors who have been absent from duty for years without explanation, reports Tanmayee Tyagi.

The health department identified these doctors from across all 13 districts.

The move also aims to create vacancies for other doctors, sources said.

The department is aiming to complete the termination process within two weeks, sources said.
