More than 90 crore 79 lakh doses of corona vaccine administered in the country so far

More than 90 crore 79 lakh COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered in the country so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive. Health Ministry said, over 23 lakh 46 thousand doses were administered yesterday.

India reported more than 20 thousand new cases were reported in the last 24 hours. India's Active caseload stands at two lakh 64 thousand 458 and it is the lowest in 200 days. Active cases account for less than one per cent of total cases and it is currently at 0.78 per cent, the lowest since March last year.

The Ministry said, the recovery rate is currently at 97.89 per cent, the highest since March last year. Over 26 thousand people recovered in the last 24 hours and total recoveries touched three crore 31 lakh 21 thousand 247.

The weekly positivity rate currently stands at 1.63 per cent which is less than three per cent for the last 101 days. Daily positivity rate is at 2.10 per cent which is less than three per cent for last 35 days.

The death toll due to the pandemic has reached four lakh 48 thousand 997. In all, 180 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.

Over 57 crore 42 lakh COVID tests conducted so far. Over nine lakh 91 thousand tests were conducted yesterday.
