New Update

Taking too much paracetamol can cause many side effects, a doctor from Gujarat has researched and prepared a new formula that will help the patient to get the paternity relief and there will be no side effects of it at the same time.

Dr. Bhaumik Pandya, a native of Umalla village near the banks of Narmada in Bhrigudhara Bharuch and now settled in America, has worked abroad in the field of health.

If we are suffering from fever, headache, or tingling in the body, we immediately swallow paracetamol tablets, but this medicine is not a cure for the body. Instead it is very dangerous, Dr. Bhaumik Pandya, did a new research in which the side effects of paracetamol can be reduced and the patient can also get relief.

Dr. Bhaumik Pandya studied Masters of Pharmacy from L.J. Institute of Pharmacy, Ahmedabad and during his studies he did a very innovative and useful research under the guidance of Dr. Sriraj Shah and Dr. Nihar Shah.

The achievement of this research is such that it has been patented by the Indian Patent Office.

In this regard, Dr. Bhaumik Pandya said that the main purpose behind this research was to prepare a unique formulation to prevent liver toxicity caused by the commonly used painkiller drug paracetamol.

He added saying that “Our common assumption is that the more medicine we take, the faster we will recover. But due to this assumption, we unknowingly experience the side effects of drug overdose.”

Paracetamol/Methacin/Dolo is used without a doctor's prescription for high fever or as a painkiller.

A new formulation has been prepared with a combination of Paracetamol and Vitamin-E to prevent possible liver toxicity due to it.

As vitamin-E is an anti-oxidant, it can prevent liver toxicity caused by paracetamol.

Also, paracetamol does not dissolve easily in water.

Due to this limitation, paracetamol is usually prescribed in high doses of 500-650 (Dolo-650) mg.

To overcome this limitation a lipid based innovative formulation i.e. “Self Micro Emulsifying Drug Delivery System” was developed.
