Ramanbhai Patel College of Pharmacy (RPCP), a constituent institute of Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT) recently organized a lecture series under 3rd CHARUSAT Endowment Chair. Dr. Vandana B. Patravale, Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology, Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai was invited as a speaker for conducting the lecture sessions from 25th to 28th June, 2018.
The program served as a platform for providing opportunity to faculty members, research scholars and PG students of the institute for interacting with invited expert for four days and to gain solutions to the problems related to current researches in Novel Drug Delivery Technologies. Dr. Patravale explained the effective way of designing of the research experiments through statistical methods and scope in improving quality of the healthcare products. She called upon the students and faculty members to serve the nation and to show the belongingness to the country.
Dr. Vandana Patravale has expertise in nanotechnology based development of drugs, cosmetics, vaccines, diagnostics and medical devices. She has around 15 patents for such type of technological developments. She is majorly working for developing pharmaceutical products to provide solutions for infectious diseases and cancer at economic and affordable rate.
