In such scorching heat litres of pure drinking water get wasted in Vadodara after a leakage in the line near ISKCON Heights in the Gotri area. The main road has been flooded due to leakage and thousands of liters of pure drinking water have been wasted in summer.

There are incidents of leakage in water lines in the city and due to lack of emergency repair work the pure water get wasted in the time of summer. Similarly due to leakage in the pipeline near ISKCON Heights resulting in wastage of water for nearly two days and needs to be repaired at the earliest.

Every year during the summer, the city suffers shortage of drinking water, but the municipality does not seem to have taken this issue seriously and take concrete action.
