Mumbai, Aug 13: Filmmaker Shirish Kunder is delighted as his short movie "Kriti" has been viewed over seven million times on YouTube.

To announce this news Shirish took on twitter, he posted, "7 million views of 'Kriti'. Film shot in two days where everyone including me worked for free... brings us so much love."

To join in the celebrations his wife and filmmaker Farah Khan also took to the social media platform. She wrote: "This little film just keeps getting bigger. Shirish Kunder, Manoj Bajpayee, when do we party?"

Shirish also thanked actor Manoj Bajpayee, who stars in the short film.

"Especially to you for making this happen. Or my script would be celebrating its third birthday in my locker."

The film's success comes after the film's makers' legal battle with a Nepali filmmaker, who claimed that "Kriti" is a copy of his film "BOB".

But the copyright claims over "Kriti", produced by Muvizz.com, were finally put to rest on July 15.

The movie, which also stars Neha Sharma and Radhika Apte, released online on June 22.
