A appreciable gesture of hospitality the Vadodara railway police helped an Italian resident to get his luggage which was missing for four days.

Pulivio Otino from Italy was to visit Goa but in the midway at Madgoa he lost his luggage due to boarding the wrong bogie and give the complaint to the railway police. But after so much of trouble he finally fond his luggage in Vadodara and thanked the Gujarat police for their noble gesture.

The 74 year old Italian resident Pulivio Otino was on the way to Goa to visit his friend and also to float around the City. However the destiny has something in store for the elderly as he lost his luggage in the midway enroute to Goa in the train Ernakkulam Nizamuddin express.

Otino get down at the Madgoa station in between and board the wrong bogie when the train crawled. However he was disturbed to see his luggage was missing and get down immediately. But since he realised his mistake of boarding the wrong bogie the train already gain speed and he missed it.

Otino filed a complaint at the Madgoa station and then he went to Karvar in Karnataka from where he board the train and filed a complaint there also. In the meanwhile the Madgoa railway police contact the Karvar police and transfer the case to them.

However a good Samaritan passenger informed the railway police on 182 and the Vadodara railway police searched the bogie of the train and get the luggage and informed the Karnataka police who reached with the Italian passenger at Vadodara and took custody of the luggage.

"A passenger of bogie S6 gave a message on 182 about the unknown luggage lied unclaimed for 12 hours. The message forwarded to Vadodara railway police and we searched the mentioned bogie of the train after it reached here at 9pm on 26th November. We found the baggage and during search found a IPhone where there is a Indian contact and after called him we able to trace the Italian resident and contact the Karvar police to claim the luggage," said B.J. Bariya PI railway Vadodara.

During the search police found IPhone, 60,000rs Indian currency, 1500 euros 1000 US dollar, Passport and medicines of Diabetes. The total currency is tune up to 6 lakhs and the Vadodara railway police handover all the things including the luggage to the Karvar policemen Naganand and B.R. Desai who reached with Otino on 1st December to claim the luggage. Otino was all praise for the Karnataka police and Vadodara police for their gesture.

"Its a great relief for me as I lost my luggage on 26th and since then I was in great tension as my passport and medicines are inside. Today I got my luggage and I want to thank the Vadodara police and Gujarat for helping me find my luggage and handover it to me as it is. I always be grateful to them," said an emotional Otino.
