Kiren Rijiju to attend the “International Meeting on Counter Terrorism”

[:en]The Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju will attend the “International Meeting on Counter Terrorism” to be held at Bali, Indonesia on 10th August, 2016.

The theme of this meeting on counter-terrorism will be Countering Cross-Border movement of Terrorism which is one of the biggest challenges faced today by countries regarding perpetrators, weapons, ideology and financing.

This is first of its kind meeting being hosted by Indonesia which aims at strengthening the international cooperation network in addressing the growing threat of cross-border movement of terrorism from the aspects of actor, information and also financing.

Kiren Rijiju will also meet Mr. Wiranto, Minister for Political, Security and Legal Affairs, Indonesia to discuss various issues of bilateral importance.[:]
