Kheda police Subhashish project a blessing for people during lockdown

Delivered medicines to patient after whatsapp message

The whole nation is under lockdown to stop the spreading of Coronavirus and every district administration is taking steps to implement it strictly. In such situation they also ensure to extend help to the needy duri g such difficult times.

Under the instructions of Kheda district Collector I.K. Patel, the administration is also implementing the lockdown orders which proves to be a success in containing the virus. During this time the Kheda police started project Shubhashish to help the elderly, seriously ill patients and people living lonely by delivering them essential commodities at their door step.

The project received a thumbs up as the police able to reach 38 such people with help consists of dry ration, vegetables, medicines and other essential commodities. During one such initiative the police delivered medicine to the patient after a whatsapp message.

One Shashikant Shrimali from Limbasi called the police about need of medicine for the ear problem. He mentioned about not getting the medicine in the nearby medical store and hence approached the police to help. The team immediately responded and delivers the medicine at his home address after getting it from Nadiad. Shashikant thanked the police for their gesture and help them getting the medicine in this time of need.

One of senior citizen from Nadiad appreciated the project Shubhashish and said the project warrior deliver his medicines as per his requirement at his door step with a smile. He also added that they even ask him not to hesitate next time. He thanked the SP Divya Mishra and team for their humanitarian work during the lockdown.

Senior citizen K.C. Patel also appreciated the efforts of the police as he is taking their service of Project Shubhashish for the past one month during the lockdown. He thanked the Kheda police for their help to the senior citizens like him getting the essential commodities during this crunch time.

It is worth mentioning that the project also help a lady from Assam during the lockdown period.
