After the Centre decided to resume United Kingdom flights, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, on Thursday appealed to the Union Government to extend the ban till January 31.
On Tuesday, Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said that the government has allowed limited resumption of flights to and from the UK.
Number of flights reduced from 60 to 30 per week. The government has made RT-PCR test mandatory for all arrivals from the UK. Currently, the total number of flights have been reduced from 60 to 30 per week.
38 cases have been found positive of the new strain of coronavirus in India.
