Kaushal Dave will left for his marriage on scheduled time today

“If I don’t sit down on time during the firing by the bottleger then on Saturday my funeral procession will be out from my home instead of my marriage,” said Kaushal Dave who claimed to be saved himself after sitting down in time. However the police thought that the whole thing was said to be created by Dave as the police didn’t found anything on the spot till morning next day.

Kaushal Dave said that he is to marry Dr. Aiyya from Bhadam village near Rajpipla and organised a garba programme on Friday night at Suryanagar garba ground at Waghodia Road.

He said four years earlier he forced bottleger Mukesh Mishra to closed down his liquor business and since then he was not in good terms with him and wants to spoil his marriage. He further said that at around 1am the bottleger came with his associates at the garba venue and his friends told him to go back and don’t create problems here and they went away.

However according to Dave the bottleger wants to take revenge and after he came back home after the garba the bottleger Mukesh Mishra along with associates fired at him. He said that Mishra followed him on bikes and fired at him shouting to finish him today.

Kaushal further said that he sat down immediately after the accused fired on him from 15 foot distance and ram towards his home. However the accused fired two more rounds on him but he escaped and thanked God to save him. Kaushal then called police control and police rushed to the spot and also provide security to him and his family.

Kaushal said that after the incident he talked to his fiancee and father in law over phone and told them not to worry. He added that his marriage procession will leave for the destination on the same time.

However the police didn’t found the bullet shells from the spot till morning and are taking the help of the FSL team. “The spot where Kaushal Dave claimed to be fired on, the police team is yet to receive any empty bullet shell from there. However we are taking the help of the FSL team to know whether there was firing on the complainant or not. As of now they register 307 attempt to murder against Mukesh Mishra and further investigating,” said J.G. Amin PI Panigate police station.
