Members of Mahakaal Sena requested the Tanishq showroom to remove the poster of film Padmavati slated to release shortly. The members said the film shows the history in a very different way which give negative impact on the mind of youngsters.

Since the shooting of the Padmavati begins there was protest from various groups against the story line. The sets was also damaged by the protesters in one or two occasions. The groups also give memorandum to the officials in this regard including Gujarat where Mahakaal Sena showed their protest against the film.

Shooting of ‘Padmavati’ hit

On Friday they went to the owners of the showroom and requested to remove the poster they put outside. “The film shows the history in different way which adversely affect the minds of the youths. Months ago we request the film makers to show the reality without twisting it. We give memorandums all over Gujarat in this regard and on Friday we requested the showroom owners to remove the poster after we came to know about it. The owners also responded well and remove the poster and banners of the film wherever they put up in the city,” said Alpeshsinh Darbar Secretary Gujarat Pradesh Mahakaal Sena.

He also added that their approach is to request and in the coming days they also approach the cinema hall owners to support them of not releasing the film.
