Big rush of people were seen at the Jan Seva Kendra at Narmada Bhuvan in Vadodara after the centre was shut down for two months due to Corona scare. Efforts were made by the administration to maintain social distancing at the centre and police were also deployed there to maintain the guidelines.

The second wave of corona proves fatal and with this goverment has decided to allow 50 percent staff in government and semi government offices to prevent corona transmission. At the same time, in view of the rush the Jan Seva Kendras is completely stopped and as a result, various works of the citizens including ration card, Aadhaar card, income proof were stuck.

As the cases comes down the government allowed all government and semi government offices to work with100 per cent attendance from Monday. With the commencement of Jan Seva Centers, there was a huge rush of people on the first day at the Jan Seva Kendra at Narmada Bhuvan. However, in order to maintain social distancing, arrangements were made for the citizens to sit with distance at the centre. Especially today, people rushed to collect income and caste certificates.

Sumitra Prajapati who lives in Tarsali said, his son was in Std-12 and she come to get a sample of income and caste for further study after getting mass promotion. She arrived at the Jan Seva Kendra at 10 in the morning and the system has been well facilitated to prevent the spread of corona infection. She wish to get the certificate easily without any difficulty.

With the opening of Jan Seva Kendra, agents were also there and were explaining to the people standing in line to get the operation done. Some trusted the agents and left and some standing in lines to get their work done by own. Police arrangements were made to prevent any disturbance at the facilities.

Two months later, the civic amenity centers and government-semi-government offices started functioning with 100 per cent staff and buzzing again with the movement of citizens coming for various works in the offices. Sanitizers were arranged for citizens coming for work in some government-semi-government offices. Special vigilance was maintained in government-semi-government offices for citizens to wear masks.
