Oppose Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019 call for immediate withdrawal

Jamiat Ulma I Baroda raised their protest against the Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019 and write a letter to President Ramnath Kovind through Collector of Vadodara. They oppose the bill and call for immediate withdrawal.

The members and supporters of Jamiat-e-Ulama-e-Hind denounce the Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019 and said it uses religion as legal criterion for determining Indian citizenship. They also mentioned the bill further creates division on basis of religion. Opposing the bill they call for a protest and request for immediate withdrawal of it.

On the call Jamait Ulama I Baroda also raised their protest against the CAB 2019. After the Friday prayers they gathered with banners and placards opposing the bill. They says the bill creates division in people and disturb the unity of the nation. They protest and demand to withdraw the CAB immediately.

The members and supporters call for an immediate withdrawal and review of the bill. They demand to replace it with appropriate legislation that will address the concerns of refugees and minorities in a non discriminatory manner.
