Jackie Chan clears air on rumours of being infected by coronavirus

actor Jackie Chan on Thursday scotched rumours on him being quarantined over
coronavirus.

Taking to
Instagram, the actors said, “Thanks for everybody’s concern! I’m safe and
sound, and very healthy. Please don’t worry, I’m not in quarantine. I hope
everyone stays safe and healthy too!”

According to
media reports, the actor put up the post after several people started sending
him gifts, including masks following rumours that he may have been infected.
This was after he was seen at a function with some police officers in Hong
Kong. It was later reported that over 50 officers in the area had been placed
under quarantine after attending an event.

It was
revealed Chan was at a different location that was 30 minutes away
