IOCL sponsored 750-bed covid treatment facility will be built in Pioneer Hospital campus

OSD, District Collector and District Development Officer visited the campus to review situation

Officer on Special Duty and Education Secretary Dr. Vinod Rao visited Pioneer Hospital Campus along with District Collector Shalini Agarwal and District Development Officer Kiran Zaveri. He hinted at building a 750-bed covid treatment facility in the campus in support with the public sector company IOCL.

Dr. Rao said, about 100 patients are admitted there and 10 of them supported by Ventilators. IOCL has agreed to sponsor creation of a 750 Bed COVID Hospital in Pioneer Hospital campus.

They are erecting a Liquid Oxygen Tank in next 4-5 days and installing Oxygen lines to create a total of 750 COVID Beds. It will have about 200 ICU Beds and 120 Ventilators and will be made functional in next 3-5 days.
