International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2016 is scheduled to take place in Madrid, spain next month.

Maximum nominations at the 17th edition of the NEXA IIFA Awards 2016 are received by Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s film Bajirao Mastani.Bajrangi Bhai Jaan film of Salman Khan with cute little Munni is closely behind seven nominations.

Film Piku directed by the Shoojit Sircar has six nominations and the Farhan Akhtar starrer Dil Dhadakne Do received five nominations.Tanvi Azmi and Priyanka Chopra have been nominated in the same category for their performance in a supporting Role -Female in Bajirao Mastani. Anushka Sharma for Dil Dhadakne Do, Huma Qureshi for Badlapur-Don’t Miss the Beginning and Konkana Sen Sharma for Talvar.

Arjit Singh has been nominated twice for the playback Singer-Male for his musical Contribution in Hamari Adhuri Kahani and Roy.

The NEXA IIFA Awards 2016 will be hosted by Farhan Akhtar and Shahid Kapoor this yearat IFEMA in Madrid.
